Your data belongs to you. That's why we support credit card data portability – we'll import your sensitive customer data into your new Braintree gateway, as well as export it if you ever need to leave. Please read through the Data Migration Overview before submitting your request below, as some limitations do apply.
Migration Eligibility:
The Migrations team can import or export customer information, credit card information, and certain PayPal billing agreements only. This means we cannot migrate transaction history or subscription data. Currently, we are only supporting ACH exports for merchants that agree with our legal and privacy terms. See article for more details.
Recurring Billing note:
For merchants using recurring billing, if importing, you'll have to recreate your plans in the Control Panel and create your subscriptions once the migration is complete. If exporting, you can download a report of your plans and subscriptions, or retrieve them with the API.
For security purposes, data migration requests require approval from the Authorized Signer associated with the Braintree Gateway.
