Reports
Overview
Generating reports is a necessary part of running any business. You can pull some of the reporting options available through API. However, check out our support articles to know more about the additional reports you can generate in the Control Panel.
The following reporting tools can be used with the API:
- Settlement Batch Summaries: Displays the total sales and credits for each batch for a particular date. You can group them by a custom field value.
- Creating Custom Reports: As you scale your business, you may outgrow our standard reports, and having your reporting in place is crucial. You can build custom reporting that fully encompasses your interactions with Braintree, including all transactions and customers you create.
- Using Webhooks for Reporting: After you're set up to receive webhooks, you can collect information from webhooks to create reports based on different triggers. For example, you could collect the information on notifications for Subscription Canceled to create a report for customer subscription cancelations.
